FRIENDSHIP WEEK
The air in February seems especially sweet as the presence of St. Valentine begins to make itself known. With millions of friends, family and lovers indulging in the various expressions of love, Valentine’s day is more than just another Hallmark holiday. Therefore, in this same spirit of love and friendship, TPJC once again dedicates the blessed second week of February to honour the people in our lives that have carved their special place in our hearts.
For this year’s Friendship Week, the 23rd Student Council promises a week filled with the exuberance of friendship, the commitment of love and the enjoyment of companionship. Beginning with the all familiar “Angel and Mortal” game, watch the gates of heaven open for a week as you get the opportunity to share the love through little notes and tokens of appreciation to others.
In addition, give with the generosity of love as paper hearts would be up for sale for you, you and you to pen those delightful dedications to anyone and everyone. These hearts would later be hung around school with all proceeds going towards the fund for the needy students. Also up for sale would be an assortment of flowers ($2.20 each) and balloons ($2.00 each) to help ease your gift dilemmas and also to help the needy at the same time.
How to order? Just go to your class rep ! :) It is that simple!
So don’t leave anyone out this Valentine’s Day as we celebrate love and friendship the TPJC way.
